Our goal is to find out all things about the Samurai class that might answer your questions. So, without further haste, here it is.
How To Become A Samurai
Go to Minaula City and accept the quest (Level 100 Required) "Ganji Professions" from Suigetsu, who is in the Migiwa Castle. To complete the quest you are required to collect:
20 Black Feather (From Crow Samurai
20 Broken Flame Blower
20 Fan Feather
20 Small Shell
After all of the items are collected you will be required to defeat the boss Sagiri Mio Lv 167. After that you can choose to be a Samurai.
Stat distribution bonus
1 strength = 3 attack points with sword/rod.
Only 2 atk points with bow.
1 intelligence = 4-5 magic attack with rod. 3-4 magic defense with mage garb.
also gives 1 atk per stat with rod. Gives 4-5 Mp per stat point.
1 vitality = 1 defense.
1 agility = 1 evasion.
2 Dexterity = 1 magic atk. 2 hit. 1.8~ casting speed.
3 critical = 1% critical rate, 9crt=1% trigger rate of double atk and spell burst, also give critical damage boost%.

Samurai Target Gear
Weapon: Red Tengu
ATK 186 (Current)
Evasion +10%, Crit Dmg 15%, ASPD -10%
Armor: Shiroito-Odoshi
ATK 15, DEF 15 (Current)
ATK +3%, VIT+4, AGI+2
The Class Rundown
Here's what they don't tell you. At lower levels, Samurai class can be horrible. Lower damage, horrible defense, and skills with high mp costs and painfully long cool down times. There are no support skills that boost other players. No Hp or Mp heals or boosts. Absolute clarity boosts your crit according to your level. You'll use Absolute clarity at all times along with Issen. Other skills like Reflect and Grand Majesty can come in handy seldomly, but are more of a pain to use than not. There is 1 very powerful skill called finishing stroke that delivers a great punch, but the consequence are damaging your swords refinement level which guarantees you won't use it at +8 or +9.
Here's the GOOD news. Just when you thought this class sucked the big one.... At level 160 you get a skill called Supernatural. It's as cool as it sounds. The benefit is that it allows you to use the Finishing Stroke skill without damaging the blade and also giving you a major damage boost. I saw a video of someone killing FG in 1 hit! I personally can hit for up to 65k Damage in 1 hit. Any boss before Schlingel has now become a breeze soloing.
Skill upgrades include:
At level 140, you can take the quest to increase the Durationof Absolute Clarity.
At level 140, you can also take the quest that increases duration of Grand Majesty
My advice is to level up to at least level 140 before becoming Samurai and equipping Red Tengu with Shiroito-Odoshi armor.
SAMURAI SKILLS (COPIED FROM JAPANESE WIKI)
Sword training (passive)
Knowledge of the sword. And a significant increase in the critical damage when equipped with a sword. Attack rate is the lowest value.
(Critical Damage +100%?) Learning SLv1 samurai when changing jobs
SLv2 swordsmanship Appendix II of the foreign country (Lv220) (Critical Damage +100%?) use
Parry (passive)
Skill to defend without having to stop the attack. To reduce it when receiving damage attacks during motion.
SLv1 samurai job change during learning
SLv2 secret II of parting (Lv260) use
Issen
I kill the enemy with sharp one swing. I will give a higher than normal damage to the target. Critical is also generated.
SLv1 MP32 samurai job change during learning
SLv2 MP48 quest skill acquisition trial [!] (Lv200) clear
SLv3 MP64 quest skill acquisition trial [!] (Lv240) clear
Tsubamegaeshi
Skill to fight back while avoiding attacks. Counterattack to disable the physical attacks that subsequently receive. Upon receiving the magic attack, and end up failing.
※ learning counterattack when SLv1 MP80 samurai when changing jobs, I stun the target with a probability
Eryu-tenhare
Powerful finishing move that ignores the burden of arms. Power is increased by the refine of the weapon. In probability, refining value decreases.
SLv1 MP1 samurai job change during learning
Meikyoshisui
Concentration that was sharpened. Short, CRT is increased according to the level of its own. This increase does not exceed the maximum value.
(2 minutes time effect) learning SLv1 MP64 samurai when changing jobs
SLv2 MP80 quest skill acquisition trial [!] (Lv140) (4 minutes time effect) clear

Imposing majesty
Skill to direct the hostility on the come forward. I turn to itself the goal of the attack target. ATK increase when used in a target of the enemy.
(About +20% ATK 1 minute time effect) learning SLv1 MP50 samurai when changing jobs
SLv2 MP70 quest skill acquisition trial [!] (Lv140) (2 minutes duration effect is same as above) clear
Supernatural things
Technique to amplify the power temporarily. Critical damage and physical power is increased. With the finishing touch to the effect of ...
SLv1 MP160 quest skill acquisition trial [!] (Lv160) clear (completed in 6 fractions dragon point sunny use time effect, after the end of 30 seconds fatigue state)
SLv2 MP240 scroll of Swordsman II (Lv240) use (completed in 6 fractions dragon point sunny use time effect, after the end of 30 seconds fatigue state)
SLv3 MP320 scroll III of swordsmen (Lv260) use (end effect in time? fractions dragon point sunny use, fatigue state? seconds after it ends)
※ The finishing touch when used in effect during seems to have become a fatigue state, but refining value does not drop ※ critical damage reduction rises DEF · MDEF by Lv
Third Eye (passive)
Technology to see through the weakness of the other party. I will be able to penetrate a little defense of the enemy. Physical power also increases slightly.

STR Strength; Affects physical attack power.
1 STR = +3 ATK when equipped with a sword or rod
1 STR = +2 ATK when equipped with a bow
INT Intelligence; Affects magic attack power and max MP.
1 INT = +4 max MP
1 INT = +1 ATK when equipped with a rod
1 INT = +4 MATK
1 INT = +3 MDEF
Increases HP healed with Mini Heal and Heal
VIT Vitality; Affects defense, damage taken from poison, and HP.
1 VIT = +<20 max HP
1 VIT = +1.5 DEF
4 VIT = +1 MDEF
1 VIT = reduces poison damage by 1
AGI Agility; Affects attack speed and evasion.
1 AGI = +1 EVA
1 AGI = +1.8 ASPD
DEX Dexterity; Affects hit rate and casting speed.
1 DEX = +2 ATK when equipped with a bow
1 DEX = +1 ATK when equipped with a sword
2 DEX = +1 MATK
1 DEX = +1 HIT
1 DEX = +5 or 6 CSPD
CRT Critical; Affects the chance of a critical hit, and critical damage.
Increase trigger percentage for double attack & spell burst.
For example, 9 CRT = +1% chance of triggering double attack(Lv3) beyond base 10% chance.
Critical Rate increases at 3 CRT = +1% beyond base 5% chance.
