COMBAT
During combat, certain opponents can cause your character to suffer status effects. The status effects are listed below.
Area retreating: While in a boss fight, you are designated to a specific area to battle. In order to retreat from this area, you must find the retreat spot and confirm your action.
Enemy retreating: This happens when you simple run away from an enemy until it no longer pursues you. Technically, the enemy gets 2 strikes before he begins to chase you. If at any time he is able to strike again, he will be able to strike twice before pursuit once again.
PRO RETREATING TIP
You are also able to retreat your entire party from a boss battle as long as one of you is still alive.
EXAMPLE: You and 3 other friends are fighting Minenaga. Your 3 friends have died and you are still alive. You must first find the retreat zone and exit battle. Once outside of battle LEAVE PARTY (Or if you are party leader, kick a party member). Once this happens, everyone inside the boss battle is immediately removed to the outside area before battle. Those that were dead now have 1 HP. WARNING: By doing this you completely reset the health of the boss and must now start over.
